Noreen Claire
I just saw that Usborne has Illustrated math (3 levels) and science (bio, chem, physics) dictionaries. I'm a sucker for math and science reference books - are they any good? I suddenly want to need them...
PeachyDoodle
We have them. I can't say they've gotten tons of use, but THEY'RE SOOOO PREEEETTTYYYYY! I am a sucker for books, period. And we do use them on occasion :) I'd say they're well done.
ReadingMama1214
We have the younger versions "my first illustrated math/science dictionaries" we love them. I would definitely buy the others
Noreen Claire
*sigh* I think I'm going to have to host one of those obnoxiously happy and perky Usborne facebook parties so that I can buy the entire lot at once at a discount. Ugh.

2_girls_mommy
I did a home party years ago to get my Usborne art books which get read and reread every year. :) I LOVE my science encyclopedia. I have used it as almost our whole WTM style science at different times over the years. I also liked the first illustrated encyclopedias of (insert science topic here,) for grammar stage science.
SilverMoon
*I* liked the math one. Alas, my kids consider it a dust collector. The science just duplicates the pile of science encyclopedias we already have. The Math Book by Pickover though... now that one my rising 9th grader really enjoyed. Build Your Library 8 scheduled it into his history last year.
athomeontheprairie
We have them. They've been used... Maybe once, with eye rolling and heavy sighs. We have art ones, those are used regularly, happily and with great joy and enthusiasm.
Noreen Claire
I pre-ordered the newest edition of the Kingfisher science encyclopedia and am eagerly awaiting its release in October. So, I really don't *need* any more science reference books but, as I said, I'm a sucker for math and science reference books. ;-) Edited July 24, 2017 by Noreen Claire
