During the summer my boys have to read to themselves for a little while each morning before they get on their computers. I got Amazon Rapids for Adrian and he hated it the first couple days and now he loves it and actually has been willing to read some in a chapter book on his Kindle now. I think he really likes having to tap for each line. It keeps him engaged in what he is reading. He prefers Rapids to reading an actual book or on the Kindle. Reminded me of the free Amazon Prime books - 99% of it poorly written, seem like they were written by a computer algorithm. We use getepic.com.
