Slache
Have we done this? This should be a thing. As an individual: I'm reading through the Old Testament taking things in historical and Jewish context. I should not be done by the end of the year. Using multiple resources to learn Koine (Biblical) Greek. Maybe an drawing course. We'll see. I really need to up my Spanish practice but I'm not sure how. As a mother/teacher: Daily Grammar workbook History of The Ancient World (we're doing SOTW I as a family) How To Read A Book Handbook of Nature Study Knowing & Teaching Elementary Mathematics
Guest
Formal classes: Taking both of Kate Snow's Math Courses through WTMA In the fall taking Wes Callihan's Great Books for Adults course Independent: I mostly read non-ficition these days and it's almost always history centered. The only non-historical book currently on my nightstand is on ISIS and it's fascinating.
merylvdm
I really need to up my Spanish practice but I'm not sure how. I love Duolingo not just for my kids but for myself - and my adult children use it too. And my one son used Italki for German practice. I know they cover all languages. He did pay but he felt it was worth it. For myself 1. I am trying to learn Thunkable which is a drag and drop language to build apps. I want to see what I can create with it and then will turn it into a class if I like it. 2. I have just signed up for this Coursera course: e-Learning Ecologies: Innovative Approaches to Teaching and Learning for the Digital Age. It starts on Monday. I am always looking for ways to learn new teaching methods.

I've found a formal workbook I might enjoy for formal grammar.
