This doesn't happen to me often, but every now and then I have a dream where I meet some (real person) that I haven't actually met in person. There was one homeschool blogger for instance who showed up in my dreams several times. Also the Obamas made multiple appearances--once they ended up staying at my house in the wake of some natural disaster. I've also very occasionally had a dream involving a tv/movie character. Most of the people who show up in my dreams are either people I know irl or seem to be entirely invented by my dream production center, so it always surprises me when some real person that I don't know in person makes an appearance. I am happily married, and I don't really think the actor is that attractive. I don't remember having many dreams about fictional characters, or real people I don't actually know for that matter. The week before we were married, I dreamt that DH's ex fiancé broke into my room and tore my wedding veil like Bertha Rochester in Jane Eyre. mathnerd Posted June 23, 2017 Share Posted June 23, 2017 I dreamt that I had a huge house with acres of lawn and the CIA/FBI called and asked if they could land the President's helicopter in my lawn when he was in town. I said that they could if the President and the First Lady would drop in at my house for a cup of coffee. It was during the Obama time - I remember playing hostess in my mansion and the first couple were very friendly and gracious to my whole extended family. That was super weird because I live in the suburbs and we have no lawn due to California's water restriction during the recent drought! I played myself and my college best friend played herself. My husband, however, would never consent to act IRL, so in my dream movie he was played by Bruce Willis, LOL. Their similar coloring/receding hairline/baldness is about all I can think of that made him fit in my dream. The movie plot involved aliens and a a lot of glass shattering at a very fancy shopping mall, but I forgot most of it a few minutes after I awoke. After dinner KB told him he'd see him tomorrow. My first husband liked to imitate his voice and really liked to do it at night when we had the light off, so it was fresh in my mind I guess. When I woke up I was too scared to go downstairs to use the bathroom. Did you know SIDS could be solved by playing a complicated board game, and using bubble gum. I'm not sure what the gum is/was for. I visited the Clinton museum in Little Rock a few times and got to know more of who she is so I think that's why I she was in my dream.
