Sigh. Back to school this week, and off the next for work.

Today's schedule:

Chores

Eat with parents today for Father's Day

DH plans to watch golf all afternoon and most of the evening.

Therefore, I may have a lot of the day to write, work on the school schedule and so forth. So that's what I'll do. :D

Good afternoon critter! Today's schedule

Church

Drop DD at work/pick her up (maybe, lol)

Hopefully, dinner with Dh

Watching movies and relaxing

He's racing online so I don't really know what we'll get to do. Ladies, I'm really nervous, at last Dr appointment I was diagnosed as pre diabetic. This weekend I started experiencing some tingling in my hands and feet, I know I need to go to the Dr, but I'm so scared the diagnosis will be that I have diabetes. Please talk some sense into me and tell me to just go! I know that early diagnosis and treatment can stave off a myriad of problems but, I'm so scared and I honestly don't know why.

Go! Find out what it is, because it may or may not be related. Always better to know, because if you have a name for it and a plan, it's easier to figure out what you need to do.

Please go! Denial will not change anything, and (like you said) early diagnosis and treatment can help.

Many hugs. I have to frequently give myself this talk about the futility of denial.

Please go! A relative of mine was recently told she was diabetic. The Dr wanted to put her on a daily pill but she really didn't want to do that. Her numbers were still low enough she convinced the Dr to let her try to improve her numbers with her diet. After a month of eating a strict diabetic diet, her numbers were under the threshold. She's been following the diabetic diet ever since to keep it that way. I know everyone's bodies are different and respond differently but this might be something that can be very manageable for you if you have the information to know what your body is up to. Good luck!!!

It's just me and the toddler today. The big kids are spending time with their grandparents. I will meet them at piano later and bring them home from there. We'll doing all our reading, multiplication practice, and OT homework this afternoon.

I don't know how to act with one kid, let alone a toddler that doesn't talk back and accepts everything I say as gospel! This is great! :D I think I'm going to take him to the city and do some shopping this morning.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning! Changing the cleaning schedule a bit this week. We are hosting a meeting at our house tomorrow. One of the individuals that is coming, I've never met or seen before so I'm anxious about this meeting. But I'm sure it'll be fine.

Tuesday's list:

-start dinner in the slow cooker

-everyone reads

-dd piano practice

-dd OT homework

-4 loads of laundry (already started)

-clean living room

-clean kitchen

-clean upstairs bathroom

-do a couple errands for dh who isn't feeling up to it

-outside the house evening activities tonight

Mama25angels: I'm so glad you made the appointment! :) It stinks you have to wait a month, though.

Clearly, more practice on their part is needed!  :D Which reminds me. I want to set up a schedule on the small whiteboard to detail which child is responsible for dishes on which day of the week. I plan to hang it up above the sink. I want to do sweeping in the same way, to divide up the workload a little more evenly for the fall.

Hooray for Friday!

Wednesday and Thursday were 2 of the scariest, most stressful days of my life!!! I think I got dehydrated yesterday, I cried so much. But I think we have a new plan in place to prevent super scary things from happening again. Medical stuff suuucks!!

Today's plan is pretty straightforward: catch up the kitchen and laundry from 2 days of neglect and just keep swimming. That is the most I can focus on at this point.

I am cautiously optimistic today will be a better day and we will have a pleasant weekend.

I hope all of you have a great Friday and an enjoyable weekend, too.
