fourisenough
My DD recently completed Lora Marks's Solidifying the Foundations of Algebra course (3-week summer class or 15-weeks during the regular school year). It was a fantastic review that precipitated some major "Ah ha!" moments for her. If you're not sure whether your student is ready to move onto geometry/algebra 2, it might be a good fit. She also teaches a Solidifying the Foundations of Math class, but we I have no experience with that. I'm not affiliated with her in any way- just a happy parent/customer. TarynB
Thanks for sharing your experience! I had looked into signing up my son for her summer session, but unfortunately the schedule didn't work for us. The instructor seemed extremely organized and was very responsive to my questions, though. I'm glad it worked out so well for your daughter.
borninthesouth
I didn't see the summer sign up. Has it ended?
fourisenough
I didn't see the summer sign up. Has it ended?Yes, the 'summer' class was really more like a late-spring class. It ran for the last three weeks of May.
