slackermom
My 12 yo dc is researching ancient Greek philosophy, and is making a list of online resources. Does anyone know of any specific websites that they would recommend? tia
midori
Have you tried the Livius.org website? It doesn't go into depth, but it gives nice snapshots of many of the most prominent Greek philosophers. Once you have the name of the philosopher, and the names of some of their writings/other philosophers they influenced/some of their schools of thought, it should be easier to find meatier information. vorbarra
The History of Philosophy With No Gaps podcast from Cambridge (I think), is pretty good and very thorough. My 12yo occasionally listens with me. Just be sure to skip the episode on Plato's Erotics as it is definitely not appropriate for the preteen crowd. They also have books but I haven't read them.
