Harriet Vane
Quick question re format of materials on test day. Has anyone's kid taken ACT writing recently (over the last 12-18 months)? When you are actually taking the writing test, what materials are you given in which to write your essay? Do you have to put your name and date at the top? I assume there is some method for identifying that the essay is yours. I have scoured the ACT website and I cannot find the answer to this question. Thank you! Susan in KY
The materials you have to do the essay include a piece of paper that is the equivalent of two 8.5X11 sheets folded. DS can't remember how they identified it was his, or if he wrote his name on it. However, whatever happened, we got the score for it. :)

Just trying to offer some BTDT reassurance. Anyone else?
Arcadia
" On the front cover of your writing test booklet, sign and print your name and enter your date of birth in the spaces provided. . . . Now, turn your answer document to page 5 and print your name in the spaces provided. . . . Then, turn it to page 6. In the top-left corner of your test booklet, find the 6-digit number. Copy it into the “Writing Test Booklet Number†boxes on your answer document. . . . Next, find the 3-character test form under the date of birth boxes, copy it into the “Form†boxes on your answer document, and fill in the matching oval. If you do not fill in the correct oval, your answer document cannot be scored accurately. Read the directions on the front cover of your test booklet, break the seal, open the booklet, read the assignment, and begin work."
