Our Human Story Wondering if anyone here has planned a schedule/pacing guide with extra books, primary sources, and videos before I tackle that? I really want something I can hand to my girls so they know what's expected each week, like a syllabus, otherwise I foresee our history studies falling behind. I actually ordered the World syllabus before the sale ended..... just in case. I am looking and I'm confused which would be a syllabus. I purchased the coursebook only for World History. I should be getting it in the mail today or tomorrow. Elladarcy posted the link. I am hoping to pair it with Our Human Story, videos (like Crash Course &/or Great Courses Plus), some literature, DK Encyclopedia, Map Trek, timeline, note-taking, documentaries. OM's Coursebook is designed to give the student historical topics/themes and it is up to them to read and research more about that time in history. I am confident that my 11th grader is able to do this on her own, but my 9th grader will need more guidance. Dd 11th grader would like some sort of schedule of materials, though.
