Joules
I'm not sure if this is behind the pay-wall, but I thought I'd share. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/04/17/insider/copy-edit-this-quiz-5.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur&smvar=wknd&_r=0 It's a chance to edit errors that occurred in the NYT. Hint: That lack of an Oxford comma is not an error! I was blinded to the rest of the sentence because of that one and almost never figured it out.

Miss Tick
Thanks for the hint. However, it is probably time to hand over writing instruction to someone in the 66% who scored better than I did!
Guest
Yikes! I did better than only 57 percent of readers. (Lol) Even reading your warning ahead of time, I still stumbled on the Oxford comma one. Grrr...
Carrie12345
Top 75%! To be honest, almost all of the errors are ones I'd overlook in regular reading. I only found them because I knew they had to be there, somewhere! And the Oxford comma annoyed me. Someone recently edited out the Oxford commas in messages I paid to have printed, and I'm holding onto resentment.
