Lanny
I just read this article. It was published one month ago, so it is pretty up-to-date. http://www.networkworld.com/article/2932962/cloud-storage/19-free-cloud-storage-options.html#tk.revfun_poplr I suspect I am pretty close to my limit, for my free Dropbox account. I need to log into my Dropbox account and see how much additional space I have... I have been using Dropbox for a number of years, and it saved my rear, twice, once when my Desktop PC was destroyed by a nearby lightning strike and a 2nd time, 8 months later, I think a surge came in on the phone line and took out another PC. I am very grateful that I had their free service and that it worked properly. :hurray: If the description of Microsoft OneDrive in this article is correct, at the end, it says if one pays $6.99 a month for Microsoft Office, that comes with 1 TB of storage. Above that, it says that 1 TB of storage is $6.99 a month. Possibly one of the services described in the article will be of interest to someone here. Remember the 3 important things to do with your computers: Backup, backup and backup...
Guest
Thanks, Lanny! I was just yesterday watching a video about digital photo storage. I have to admit, my current system is lacking and the idea that all my photos could be at risk makes my heart race. Time to do something about this!
Lanny
Moxie: You are welcome. Everything should be backed up, locally (we have a Removable Hard Disk Drive (Western Digital) I use to make System Image backups of the Hard Drives or this SSD, and, also, importantly, off-site. In the Cloud is the easiest way to do the off-site backup. Check it out...
