SKL
Set alarm extra early but kept hitting the snooze. Comfy morning though - cool breeze, birds singing .... Got the kids up early so they could shower - didn't get it done last night and they needed it after 2.5 hours of heavy exercise. Kids off to the school bus, with band instruments. Work. Lots of work to do, reports and invoices to send out. BUT at the moment, no conference calls on the schedule, YAY! Finish the laundry. A little cleaning, reading, exercise. Attach scout patches? Pay bills? Order kids' glasses. Quick shopping stop. Kids' work. Read-aloud. Kids to bed. Work.

Jean in Newcastle
OK. Deep slow breaths. Ds to college - check. Grocery store for dinner and lunch stuff - check Got an actual shower for once - check (this has been remarkably hard to schedule, I've been so busy) Pet care done - check Human care done - check Medical care done - check Then. . . dd started fainting all over the place again (second day in a row). So it was a round of blood pressure and glucose readings. And then. . . after about an hour we found out the real reason for the problems - she has gone into a migraine. Then. . . ds contacted me from college to say that he's sick. So one child has been dosed with migraine meds and is in bed. And I will go collect the other one in a minute.

Selkie
Jean, so sorry about your kids not feeling well. Migraines are horrible. :( I got most of my office work done today but still have some that needs to be finished up tomorrow. Our internet is being very slow again so dd was unable to have her speaking appt. with her Japanese teacher - grrr. Also, I forgot that dh and ds have a golf lesson so dinner will have to wait until they're done, which gives me some time to relax. :)

SKL
Everything is taking forever today! I finally got a few reviews and one report out, just before I needed to go order my kids' glasses. (We had already picked out the frames before today.) That took over an hour because they had something else going on today and we had to wait. My kid has been keenly looking forward to a bike ride to the park/library today. My other kid ditched her yesterday, for a 2nd time, so she wasn't going to give up on today for anything. It was nearing 7pm when they finally left, and this might be one of the parenting "yes" decisions I regret later, but hopefully not. :p Now they are going to find out what it's like coming home as it gets dark. A good life lesson I guess.... They definitely needed to blow off some stink though .... Edited April 25, 2017 by SKL
