Jean in Newcastle
Are you talking about books? We just listen to a lot of non-Western music on Spotify etc. Are there any specific countries you are interested in? Do you only want traditional music from that region or do you want current music? For example - traditional Korean music vs. K-Pop.
Sherry in OH
I would prefer traditional music. Something like Classics for Kids but covering music from other traditions would be lovely. A book would be fine if it included links or references to pieces we could listen to. Music from any Asian or northern or western African country will work. wintermom
This is a great idea to introduce different music styles to youth! We get so used to hearing western scales, intervals, and notes. It's excellent to have them hear a whole other world of music out there.
