We are using Lively Art of Writing this year, which does have a chapter on writing a thesis for this type of paper, but only has more general tips for things like taking notes. And the section on research is all about how to use a card catalog. :lol: Are there any resources you have found helpful for taking notes, organizing the research, and writing the paper? mom31257 Posted March 27, 2017 Share Posted March 27, 2017 Ds just did one using Analytical Grammar's Beyond the Book Report Season 3. It was very helpful! This curriculum taught literary analysis essays, personal essays, SAT essays, oral presentations, a biography research paper, and an argumentative research paper.
