sheryl
What the heck is it with cleaning glass?!?!!!!?? Over the years I've tried: Windex or equivalent, news "'print" paper (newspaper BEFORE ink is applied for newspapers), microfiber and who knows what else. Oh, yea, I know what else...vinegar and water. Just water. Nothing.NO.THING. seems to work. We cleaned our 3 cars' windows on the interior a few weeks ago and yep, there they are - STILL - the "streaks". Dare I ask if any of you have the PERFECT product? mamaraby
For car windows - https://www.amazon.com/Invisible-Glass-Premium-Cleaner-91164/dp/B0007OWD2M Works like a charm.
Lawana
For car interior windows I use denatured alcohol and 0000 steel wool. Nothing else I have tried gets the film off.
MercyA
My mom cleaned houses and churches for 25+ years. She likes Sparkle best for glass. I like it because it's purple and smells like my childhood. :)
Laura Corin
Generic window spray and used newspaper. And lots of rubbing. I go over the dry glass afterwards with a newspaper and rub hard.
2ndGenHomeschooler
Norwex window cleaning cloths. Even my 7yo can get the windows streak free.
Guest
I use terry cloths and Windex. I have also tried Dawn dish soap in a bucket as recommended here (maybe by Rose in BC? I have forgotten who...) for cleaning windows and this works greta so long as I use my window squeegee. I think the "secret," if there is one, as that the final buff has to be a pretty dry cloth.
QueenCat
Ecloth makes a cleaning cloth for windows. Works great, just water and the cloth. Cheaper than Norwex but works just as well.
