Need a sock recommendation....woman's size 10 shoe, wide feet

DD is struggling with the comfort level of her socks.

She is now in a woman's size 10 shoe and has wide feet.  I used to buy her FILA socks because they tended to be a bit stretchier in the width, while still having a good elastic around the ankle so they didn't fall down into her shoe.   But.....they are starting to fall down now too, because her feet are so long, that they are pulling the back down. She is built so her ankle isn't really much narrower than her foot. She likes the style that just fit the outline of an athletic shoe (not a lower cut style like converse socks).

I can't find much in larger sizes than the traditional 6-9 in the stores I have looked in. The only ones I found in larger size was  Hanes but they were not very nice quality.  Kind of fuzz-ball feeling on the inside and had rough toe stitching.

I will probably order online, hence the desire for a product recommendation vs just ordering random products. She likes no-show styles because she has sensitivities and the ones with a bit of ankle ribbing, bother her.

I looked at men's products too, but I would really rather find something with some girly colors. She is 10 and likes girly things.

Any suggestions?

I use men's socks or Nike. Nike has large sizes and colors galore. Even the men's Nike socks have very color and combo you would want. Check JCPenney and Kohls for sales on them. They do make a women's version but when I needed it, it was out of stock. DS actually got me hooked on them as they are his favorite socks for his sensory issues.

I haven't bought these yet but these were recommended asics shoes make no show socks in large sizes. Amazon sells them.

Do not buy the champion brand women's socks. They might say they are for sizes up to 12 but it was like a girdle for my feet. I gave them to my DD who wears a 8.5-9 and they barely fit.

I also buy men's socks. LOL, I once had a fight with a sales clerk about it! "Oh, but you should buy women's socks!" "They don't fit." "I'm sure we can find you something...!" "Lady, you can't. And the men's socks are identical to the women's socks except for the sizing." "But let me just check, you shouldn't wear men's socks!"

What did she imagine would happen!?

Perhaps, she thought you would sprout very hairy toes from mens socks  ?

Lane Bryant, the avenue, Catherine's, etc, have socks that run larger. I have a similar size foot as your daughter and they are too long on me.

Lane Bryant has some really cute ones online right now, can't find the size, but a little research says they are 9.5 - 12
