Ann.without.an.e
Dc's financial aid offer included a note that it had to be accepted within three weeks or it would be rescinded. Read your offers carefully! Wow, I think all of DD's have had a May 1st date but now that makes me panic, I need to double check. Thanks! JanetC
If the college participates in NACAC, report them. All students are supposed to get until May 1st to decide where to go without losing their financial aid. http://wiselikeus.com/collegewise/2012/02/do-you-really-have-until-may-1-to-decide.html
klmama
Thank you for sharing that information. I looked, and it is on the list. ETA: Looking at the letter again, it clearly states at the top that it will be cancelled May 1 if the offer is not accepted; it's the to do checklist that says dc has to accept within three weeks of the offer date. I will bring the conflict to the attention of the admissions office. Edited February 11, 2017 by klmama
