silver
My daughter loves telling stories. She finds copywork and dictation to be drudgery, narration is tolerable, her love is telling and writing stories. She would like a writing curriculum next year that focuses on creative writing and/or writing stories. I would like it to not be super expensive, since it won't be our main writing program (we'll be using ELTL 4 and MCT Town level, to give an idea of workload/level). Any suggestions? Crimson Wife
NaNoWriMo has free workbooks. Another resource that is good if you can find it inexpensively is The Plot Whisperer by Martha Alderson and corresponding workbook.

Jackie
The NaNoWriMo workbooks and Brave Writer's Partnership Writing are what pop to mind.
silver
I'm going to have to take some time to look closer at the NaNoWriMo lessons, but that might be what I'm looking for. Thanks!
AggieMama
That was a great link to NaNoWriMo. I think I'll use that as the basis for summer writing.
Julie of KY
On the expensive side - I've done a few Brave Writer elementary classes and they've been so much fun. On the free side - you might sign up for the Brave Writer blog which has lots of fun, creative ideas weekly.
