I homeschooled him K-2, then he went to public school due mostly to some health concerns (I have rheumatoid arthritis) but he also wanted to try school. He did great for a while but within a few months he was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome. His school has tried to work with him, but the severity of his tics and behavior issues has worsened to the point where I feel it's best to bring him home. I'm sure I will have loads of questions on schooling a Tourette's kiddo. I've lurked here for years, BTW. I only signed up with an account over a year ago so I could see Sparkly's bacon dancing!
