Soror Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 I guess that is a lesson to pay attention more :) I ended up with a graphic novel by the name of Habibi which although very well done is a much more mature book than the book by the same name. I quite enjoyed the preview on Amazon but I'm not certain if I want ds 12 to read it. Has anyone read the graphic novel Habibi in its entirety? Yes, that version is not available in our library system. I got this version: https://www.amazon.com/Habibi-Pantheon-Graphic-Novels-Thompson/dp/0375424148 The online preview has child marriage, slavery, r*pe, prostitution- Saying all of that it is very well done but although we've talked about a lot of things we've not done so as explicitly as this book.
