kbutton
My son is interested in doing the things in this book, but he will not do them using the book. He knows it. I know it. He is a video kid. The Unofficial Lego Technic Builder's Guide, https://www.amazon.c...=I21X7QXPCU04N5 Does anyone know where I can find some kind of video series that would be as comprehensive as this book? Thanks! LMD
I don't know, but it sounds interesting! My kids just watched some of the great ball contraption videos on YouTube that use lego technic and were inspired!
rutheart
Builderdude has a 4-part series on gears: I found this playlist, but haven't actually watched it: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdow00OGvSRO_ye-rhpygkB_9TvsqMF2w Instruction on using Technic is hard to find. I spent the last year hunting down resources for this. It seems that people are either intuitive with Technic or not, and those that find it intuitive are not great teachers. The book you mentioned was the only way I could teach myself well enough to teach the girls on my robotics team. Ruth

He is pretty intuitive about things, but I like him to have the words and concepts in case. He has some unusual learning patterns, so "holes" are real at the same time major intuitive leaps are real.
