Penguin Posted December 2, 2016 Share Posted December 2, 2016 (edited) After the holidays, we are going to do a two-week lab intensive for chemistry, and I am scared :thumbdown: Scared of the chemical smells (I am sensitive to strong smells and have asthma) Scared of skin exposure (I have ultra-sensitive skin) These are my two big fears. Beyond that, I am also scared of using flame... but I think I can get beyond that one LOL. I own the Illustrated Guide to Home Chemistry Experiments, Novare's Chemistry Experiments for High School at Home, and a microchem kit. Obviously I have plenty of labs to pick from...any suggestions for this fraidy cat? (Cost is a factor, but not the main one for this thread. I already own some basic lab supplies that we used in middle school and for bio so I will not be purchasing from scratch.)
