caedmyn
DD's reading improved quite a bit with the Rewards Secondary program. It improved some with Abecedarian, which I believe is loosely based on OG but not as much. Rewards is morpheme-based...so would she likely do well with a morpheme-based spelling curriculum like Apples & Pears? I think she has a decent memory overall for remembering spellings based on how the word should look (or at least, studied dictation has helped her spelling and she'll often say that a word doesn't look right but can't necessarily figure out how to correct her errors) but still misspells common words (thay instead of they) and gets confused about spelling changes when adding endings. She also gets confused about when to use -dge/-ge and -tch/-ch.
VinNY
My DD did really well with REWARDS also and we find Apples and Pears a great complement. She is 15 and on the last book of the series.
chiguirre
Ditto. Geezle did REWARDS Intermediate when he was 10 or 11 and he's finishing up A&P with a tutor now as a 15 yo.
