madteaparty
DD has the attention span for a longer story but she still likes to look at pictures. I have a ton of fairytale collections but none seem suitable for this phase. What are your favorite illustrated tales? I'll start--I adore the pictures in this one and gift this book to all the new babies in my life http://www.snowqueen.us

Kareni
When my daughter was young, I can remember loving some of Jane Ray's illustrated books. These two I remember in particular since the illustrations included a lot of gold. Unfortunately, they're out of print, but perhaps you can pick up a used copy or borrow them from your library. Magical Tales from Many Lands by Margaret Mayo and Jane Ray Earth, Fire, Water, Air by Mary Hoffman and Jane Ray Here are some of her books that are available new in hardback: The Dollhouse Fairy The Twelve Days of Christmas Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden Cinderella - A Three Dimensional Fairy-Tale Theatre Book {Pop-up Type} Some of her books are available new in paperback: The Twelve Dancing Princesses Ahmed and the Feather Girl Regards, Kareni
