pinewarbler
Can't find this anywhere on the forum... I’m trying to get appropriate materials for training for Kangaroo math contests. We’re not in the US, which is the only Kangaroo site that I can find answers with solutions booklets. I’m thinking of buying a few past years’ booklets. Has anyone used them? Are they any good? I can’t access their other materials available to registered students, so I think this is my only option.. Any ideas/ feedback welcome. mathnerd
Yes, you can buy the past year booklets from them - in the past I have ordered them. They are the actual question papers from older tests - they also have an answer key for sale, but you can download the answer keys for free too. They sent it by regular mail and i got it within the same week. They are prompt at this time of the year. Miss Tick
The Canada site used to be a little more user friendly. I bought a few old tests when we took the test the first time and I found them helpful for my dc. We used them to practice the types of problems used and also to discuss/practice test-taking strategies.
