Night Elf
I got an email saying my AppleID had been used to sign into my iCloud in the wee hours of this morning. I have never signed into iCloud. I went to the AppleID account and changed my password and security questions. I signed onto iCloud for the first time. What on earth can someone hacking into iCloud do? I have a credit card attached to my AppleID account so I'm wondering if they used it it. There are no charges on my card but that's not unusual. Doesn't it usually take a couple of days for a charge to show up on a credit card account? I just can't figure out what someone could have possibly done in iCloud. Any ideas?
Guest
Did you update your iOS by chance last night?
Night Elf
Not that I'm aware of. The time stamp for the login was 2:04am. Weird.
Guest
Do your kids have iPhones or Apple devices with your ID being the primary account? Those are the only things I can think of.
Night Elf
No, each kid has their own ID.
MysteryJen
That happened to me about three years ago, and it was fraud. There were also a few small charges. I called and Apple was awesome. Changed all the security settings and cc, and haven't had a problem since.
