Faithr
Today might be the last day the workers are here! I say might because I don't quite believe it. Today: Shower before workmen get here (never did get a shower yesterday) Meet with workmen to go over final little bits of stuff that need winding up. Get kids up Make oatmeal for breakfast Breakfast school Kids finish up Latin (we are finishing one book today. We'll start the next book on Monday. Woot!) Mass at 12:10 15 yo does math homework Take 15 yo to math tutor Dinner? Run to grocery store for something. Do my own studies 15 yo to friends this evening. Gotta plan something for dh's birthday which is on Wed but we are all going to be busy - so need to do something this weekend, I think.
SKL
It's a work deadline day. I hope I get all my ducks in a row after this coffee kicks in. Tonight should be fairly normal since we're not camping overnight. I feel sorry for the leader who probably feels she has to go, if even one girl wants to do it. Get the kids up & off to school. [done] Pet care. [done] Clean the kitchen. [done] Some personal correspondence. [done] Work. A little reading. A little exercise. A little housework. Maybe set up the kids for horse riding this p.m.? [done] Figure out what to pack for Saturday at scout camp. Start gathering it. Need to buy some firewood for camp. Dinner out. A couple old shows with the kids. Kids to bed. Work. Charge phone for Saturday without electricity. Whatever I'm forgetting. Edited September 30, 2016 by SKL

Shred Betty
Good Morning Friday! Remaining school - minimal - math, reading, writing, grammar, spelling, skip counting Wash bedding Fold laundry and away Nap Think through anything else needed ahead of Boston trip? Read through libretto of Carmen if DD wants. Watch Carmen on DVD if we read libretto. Did not do any of the above! Instead DD and I made banana bread Outside time! For DD, anyway. MysteryJen
Good morning! Today is the day of dealing with 12 yo boy issues. Nothing major, just had a feeling they were coming (just like his brothers at this age) and they are. So my version of tomato staking is happening for the next month. Hopefully we will get a reset of attitude and effort regarding school. Other than that, it's a regular day. To do: school with ds3 overview with ds2 admin things chores laundry general pickup bathrooms maybe sneak a nap, if time PM pratices swim/aikido/swim figure out dinner Have a great day!
Jenny in Florida
I'm in the midst of week three of my son's seven-week late-night theme park gig, which means my sleep schedule is pretty erratic. But, so far (knock on wood), I'm managing to handle all of the stuff that really needs to get done. So far today, I have: - Done the usual morning pet chores. - Taken my car in for servicing. - Made black beans and Mexican-style rice for the taco bar my husband is putting on for his gaming buddies tonight. Still on my list for the rest of the day/evening: - Nap. - "Attend" a work-related webinar. - Do some banking stuff. - E-mail the secondary part-time job from which I just resigned to find out if it was an oversight that I didn't get the schedule for next week or if they've already removed me. - Follow up on the car's status and collect it from the shop when it's ready. - Drive my son to work. - Attend a dinner with some folks from work (send-off for a manager who is transferring to a different location). - Pick up my son from work. Just another relaxing day off around here . . . Edited September 30, 2016 by Jenny in Florida
Jean in Newcastle
Argh. Ds didn't tell me until this morning that I could have slept in an extra half hour. Since I'm operating on way too little sleep, this really ticks me off! Then when I tried to go back to sleep after getting back from dropping ds off, the phone started to ring off the hook with telemarketers - actually the same two telemarketers over and over again. I might have yelled but then it was impossible to go back to sleep. Human care done Pet care done Medical care done Kitchen cleaned I folded and put away two loads of "I don't wanna". And then I took a basket of "I don't wanna" downstairs and started another load. :Angel_anim: Dd was very needy in Algebra today so there was a lot of "Mom!" and me having to drop everything to go help. (I don't begrudge her the help. It's just hard to be a ping-pong some times.)
SKL
Wow, I can't believe it's past 3pm over here. I believe I finished all my "deadline work." (Unless I'm forgetting something.) Now I'm working on a bunch of random "to-dos."
Jenny in Florida
Updating my list. Done so far: Usual morning pet chores Car in for servicing Black beans and Mexican-style rice for husband's game-night taco bar Nap Work-related webinar E-mail to just-about-ex-employer regarding next week's schedule Picked up car (which didn't require anything more expensive than the regularly-scheduled oil change -- Yay!) We've opted to delay the banking until tomorrow, which means all I have left on my agenda for today is: Drive my son to work. Attend a dinner with some folks from work (send-off for a manager who is transferring to a different location). Pick up my son from work.

ScoutTN
Dh was SO late. We are at the camp ground and it is raining (lightly now, hard for a while) and almost dark. I am not helping set up. There are a horde of men here and i see no reason to be out in the rain when I can be comfy in my van. I like camping, but dh is being a jerk and I wish I were home watching shark tanj. Edited September 30, 2016 by ScoutTN
