Caviar Posted September 30, 2016 Share Posted September 30, 2016 I have not been able to find many reviews of the Early Times Series by Suzanne Strauss Art, except for the glowing review of the whole series on Exodus Books. I'm thinking that this would be a good series to follow the SOTW, for a second rotation. Has anyone here used this complete series? Thoughts? deerforest Posted September 30, 2016 Share Posted September 30, 2016 I'd agree with that old thread. We prefer the OUP series, but we have used some of the Strauss Art books too. They republished most of the volumes recently, made some changes to some content and added a lot of graphics and improved the formatting. I'm mentioning this because several of the comments on that older thread mentioned the boring formats. I actually quite liked the two volumes for early American, which I don't think had a comparable volume in OUP or any other series we liked.
