JanetC
I'm looking for a book(s) or website(s) for tutorials. I need something very well organized, not a web page with a bunch of random links to hunt through. Thanks!
quark
We are planning for kiddo to learn it via Udemy the summer after senior year. Two of the courses we'll be looking into: https://www.udemy.com/matlab-programming/ https://www.udemy.com/matlab-programming-fundamentals/ More here.
MarkT
FYI - GNU Octave is open source software (free) which executes matlab .m files.
JanetC
@MarkT - we already had the license from something else (that involved running someone else's code that didn't run on Octave), so we are good there.
MarkT
There are lots of free PDF books for example: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/166592-best-book-for-beginners http://bookboon.com/en/an-introduction-to-matlab-ebook https://www.tutorialspoint.com/matlab/matlab_tutorial.pdf
Job121
Matlab needs to be learned with linear algebra. "Matlab Handbook" by Eva Part-Enader is bey basic, infomative book. " Mastering MATLAB " by Duane Hanselman is excellent too. Good luck.
