nena3927
Does anyone use Spelling You See but mark different phonograms than the ones they suggest? We are using Abeka for phonics and I would rather mark the "special sounds" in Spelling You See as opposed to the ones they suggest although some are the same in both programs. I think this would really help my struggling speller to recognize the same patterns in his spelling that we are working on in his reading. It seems like this could be done easily but just wondering if anyone else has attempted this. Thanks!
nannyaunt
Not with spelling you see however I just spent the summer adapting rod and staff grade 1 reading and phonics workbooks to be used with the Spalding marking and phonograms instead. I am a big fan of tweaking just about any curriculum to make it fit what I need.
Wholesomemomma
I'd say modify it however you need to! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited September 4, 2016 by Wholesomemomma
