Kfamily Posted August 31, 2016 Share Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) Here are a few options: Our Young Folks' Plutarch The Children's Plutarch: Tales of the Greeks The Children's Plutarch: Tales of the Romans Plutarch's Lives for Boys and Girls Charlotte Mason, known for her use of Plutarch in her curriculum, started her students in Plutarch (North's trans.) in Year 5. She did use Stories from the History of Rome by Emily Beesley in Year Four and I've heard that some have used the Famous Men books (Famous Men of Greece and Famous Men of Rome) as a substitute, because they tend to be biographical, focusing on individual men, one at a time.
