wimseycat
I am looking for some new blogs to read that are lighthearted, funny nothing too serious. They can include book reviews, fashion, cooking, gardening, tv, DIY etc.. My youngest is an 8th grader this year so I am out of any of the blogs that focus on car seats, potty training etc.. Thanks! Chocomom63
I don't read many blogs these days but I do like Dinner A Love Story which is about cooking and specifically family meals. I like the books by the author and the blog is pretty fun too. And I know that you have an 8th grader (my two youngest are in 7th) but Orange Marmalade is a good one for book reviews for kids. She also has loads of lists of different kinds of books for different topics. Granted there are a lot of picture books for littles, but there are chapter books for teens as well. Hope that helps.
SemiSweet
I LOVE Vivacious Victorian, it's all about renovating a beautiful old home, but her style and her humor are great. I used to read a lot of fashion blogs, but haven't found any that I love lately.
Cinder
The only one that I read semi-regularly is Refashionista. She takes thrift store clothes and refashions them to suit her style. Lots of pictures, not too much text. I'm not a refashioner myself--maybe someday?--but I do enjoy seeing her creativity.

Thanks for the suggestion!
