TechWife
I'm so excited for my fellow NC residents who homeschool. A a 25+ year homeschool veteran is now the Director of the Division of Non-Public Education! I think homeschooling in NC has officially arrived!
alisoncooks
I just saw this! I was momentarily confused about where I knew this woman from, then I realized that I've had her standardized testing service webpage bookmarked for forever. :)
PeachyDoodle
Yay! I read recently that there are more homeschooled kids here now than private school kids. Looking forward to see what good things come from this development!
sheryl
Great! When did this happen? I can't find a link. Can you send it to me? I'm curious from which city they came and if I know him/her locally.

I was momentarily confused about where I knew this woman from, then I realized that I've had her standardized testing service webpage bookmarked for forever. :) I need to google for the announcement, but I think I can guess who it is based on what you said about standardized testing service.
alisoncooks
If you're registered with the state, you'll probably get an email. That's where I read it: an email from DNPE.
