Janeway Posted August 25, 2016 Share Posted August 25, 2016 (edited) Son trialed at the new studio. Oh my gosh!!! He loved it, we loved it. Things were so good there that I feel bad that we stuck it out at the other studio so long. AND, bonus...it is less than 15 minutes from our house! Yay! This is a huge weight off my shoulders. edited to add: there was no pun intended! I only realized after the fact that I said "happy dance" in reference to a dance issue! ha ha! Part of the reason we stay with our studio, though it isn't the most rigorous program, is because the kids enjoy it so much and the environment is a fantastic balance of strictness and encouragement. The main instructors are just great and the kids learn to love dance and feel good about themselves while learning a great deal. I just wish they offered more classes weekly but they're sharing studio space with a yoga studio and can only schedule certain days. Fingers crossed the new facility gets built sooner than later! We moved gyms for tumbling in May, and like you, I regret not moving a long time ago-DD has made more progress in 3 months than she had in the past year.
