Selling used books

Do you buy/sell used fiction books? Where? I have a dozen or so titles I would like to sell. Any ideas?

I have sold on FB Homeschool Marketplace. Some people sell on here. In order to make it worth my while I require a certain amount of sale (like $3 minimum).  Usually the books I sell are pretty cheap (50 cents or less) so it is just not worth it to me to pay for packaging, the paypal fee, etc. for a single book.

There's always thrift shops, but if your library has a Friends of (yourlibraryname) group you can donate it to them. It's not the same as donating it to the library. Friends of groups usually sell the donated books a few times a year and give the money to the library they're supporting. That way the library can put the money towards books on its wish list.

I take mine to a local used bookstore where I get credit ( or cash but they give me more credit than they will cash) that can be used to buy books at their store. Sort of like a library but without the fines and unbelievably way, way more books.

Like sir1765, I take used paperbacks to one of two local used book stores.  If they are not accepted there, I tend to donate them to either the public library (for their used book sale) or to Goodwill or a similar charity.

I didn't even know such bookstores existed. I'm off to cross my fingers and Google to find one close by!
