vaquitita
I've just realized that between RLTL and ELTL, pretty much everything in AAR levels 3&4 will be covered. Which means I can drop AAR!!! I'm ready to do a happy dance. Lol. That's one less thing to do each day. I loved RLTL for spelling this past year and I'm pretty hopeful I'll feel the same about ELTL. I have not enjoyed AAR very much. But it was open and go when I needed it. And Levels one and two did really help my daughter. But at this point she has become a reader, so I'm happy to switch to just having her read. And hthe thought of having one less thing to do this year is *very* attractive as I make the switch to three students. :D Last year I was teaching two kids with AAR, which was a lot of work. I will be glad of a short break before its time to teach #4. I really don't know if I will use AAR again with him.
