Zucchini lasagna...

The kind with strips of zucchini instead of noodles.

 

Can I set it up (steam the zucchini, layer the meat sauce cheese and zucchini) then put it in the refrigerator over night to bake layer the next day? It seems like I should able to, but I've only made this once and now dd is asking me to bring it to her team party (she needs gf) and I won't have time to bake it that day, but if I set it up dh can put it in the oven.

I don't see why not, but you really don't even need to steam the zucchini. 

Ya, no need to steam. I slice and salt it before starting everything else, then by the time it is all ready I dry it off and layer it in- it comes out perfect.
