For whatever reason. Singapore is working wonders with my boys. I think it's because it's so systematic and mastery based . but we have to bring in tons if review. I use mus also. The practice books for Singapore. And the occasional bju sheet to see where they are. They hate those sheets and frustrate them so, I probably need to quit that lol. I use the visible thinking books by Singapore too. They are wow! Way different and really drive it home . alot of it my boys think are puzzles lol. Manipulatives are essential here too. Play money, playing store. Oh for store someone shared a link here recently. It's a Charlotte Mason math , store. Pet store, sports store and one other. I'm going to try that one bs store , making change, counting money for whatever reason, my boys just dint get yet. I'm going to use cm to practice at home then venture out with dollars in hand to try it real world. Tried real world already . git the deer in the headlight look haha :) Onestep , you're so awesome :) soooo encouraging to us.
