aharrington
CursiveLogic.com I am looking at this for my 12yo son. We have tried New American and Getty-Dubay over the last two years without much success. The reviews I have been able to find look promising. Interested in hearing your experience and wondering if the webinar is necessary.
historymatters
I am bumping this. Did the OP end-up using it? If so, how'd it go? Is the webinar necessary? Especially, for a high schooler. I wpuld prefer to avoid extra purchasing if at all possible. Thx
alisha
I'm using it with my 4/5th grader. We started back in September and he really enjoys it. I don't think the webinar is necessary if you read the book-which isn't much. I remember watching it and thinking, it just basically shows what's in the book-no new information. Basically, it shows you how to do the stroke in real time. Which I was able to figure out all by myself with the instructions in the book. We like it, but aren't finished with it yet, nor at the place where he's transferring that knowledge into everyday writing, so I don't know how that will work. Hope this little bit helps. historymatters
Thank you. That helps a lot. Mu son only writes his signature in cursive-at 16! He hates writing in the first place, but has never applied his cursive learning to more than signing his name. He is slow and presses hard. I was hoping to try one more thing. aharrington
We did end up using it and just finished up. It is the first cursive curriculum in 3 years that we actually made it through. Next year will be the test of how much sticks.
