If you don't mind my asking, how did you find it overall? Hands-on or workbooky? Thorough or sparse? Engaging or dry? How long did it take you to work through & how frequently did you use it? I have World Geography & Cultures slated for K, but think Pre-History would be great to cover before Ancients. poppy Posted July 1, 2016 Share Posted July 1, 2016 I'm doing pre-history before Grade 1 (Ancients). Haven't done it yet, but, I've looked it through. I think it'd be very, very easy to do over a summer. Most days are; Read-aloud 5-10 nonfiction pages. With options for vocabulary words, copywork, narration Do one activity. Probably 30 minutes? Sometimes just "add to your timeline/write in your field guide", sometimes hands-on messy art, sometimes writing or making posters or similar.
