Dianne-TX
I've had success with Firefox for a good long while, but after updating it recently it stalls out constantly and just doesn't operate like it used to. What are other browsers out there that are good? I can't use IE because a few of school classes do not operate well with that one. Thanks!
Pawz4me
Maybe try Chrome?
hornblower
I mostly use chrome now & I find it's a good fast, stable browser. But I don't stay logged into google, & I have adblock & pop up blocker extensions on & I run "click & clean" on it all the time. If you don't, your google search history becomes a giant example of confirmation bias.
Lanny
Google Chrome is the default browser in our house and this afternoon I read an article that Google Chrome has about 56% of the browser share. Amazingly, Internet Explorer has about 34% share. The article was about Microsoft pushing their "Edge" browser because of lower battery consumption. Google is working to lower power consumption of Chrome. But, as someone in the article was quoted as saying, "most people are interested in performance, not in battery life". I have web sites, so I also have Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer installed on this laptop, so I can see what they look like in other browsers, but I don't use those 2 browsers normally.

Guest
Agree with Opera. Chrome is a huge resource hog.
goldberry
Been using Chrome, but always seem to have problems with Adobe Flash crashing/stalling. May have to try Opera, never really looked at that one.
