AmazingGrace
Long-time lurker. I just wanted to say how much I have learned just by hanging out here. I have a DS11 who is dyslexic and it was through this board that I first found out about local school testing available for home schoolers and also about Barton's. I set up an account because we are doing further testing and I might have some specific questions once we get the results. So, thank you all.

displace
Welcome! Can we assume you know about other fabulous resources? Like: learningabledkids.com, dyslexicadvantage.com, Yale center for dyslexia. :)
AmazingGrace
Displace - I have been on the dyslexicadvantage website. I also read their very interesting, very informative book. I credit it for changing my whole outlook on teaching my son. I haven't heard of the other two. Thank you I will check them out. :seeya:
displace
:) Plus Netflix and Amazon prime each have a dyslexia documentary. I am bummed to see the dyslexic advantage website has a charge to read and watch some content now. I understand, but it was such a great free professional resource.
