We have the K12 series, and I plan to continue that for my 8th grader, but she thinks this looks like fun and it would have more questions and activities in it. I am planning to try the 1st book with my guys this year. I posted in that thread, but will post here, too. We used the first book with my daughter (8th grade) this year. She hates history, but liked this book a lot and seemed to learn/retain the information well. I liked that it had an extended response question for each lesson and my daughter felt that writing out the answers to those questions helped her to retain the information.
