WhirlyBirds
What is the next step after Beast Academy 4? I see that you can get the first book of level 5, but what then?
wapiti
The first two books of BA5 are out. It is only the last two that are not. The prealgebra text follows BA5.
visitor
You can buy 5B as well , most of Homeschoolers go directly to AoPS .
Cake and Pi
And 5C will probably be out by the end of September; 5D is expected end of Feb-Mar '17. Also I guess many of the BA 5 chapters have corresponding chapters in AoPS pre-A, so if you finish early it shouldn't be to bad to just switch over before finishing 5, though I imagine BA is way more fun than AoPS pre-A. WhirlyBirds
Great! I'm glad most of BA5 will be done by the fall. We are hopefully going to finish 4 this summer. I was wondering if BA4 was enough to prepare them for pre-algebra, but sounds like I won't need to worry about it. Thanks!
lewelma
There is a great book called by Jacobs called Mathematics: the Human Endeavor. It is kind of covers preA material but more from an exploration and creativity side. It is truly an original book, and might be a very good intermediary. I used this with my younger ds. Ruth in NZ

Ruth in NZ I was going to recommend this one! Back when only BA3 and half of BA4 had come out, and dd finished up with them, I found this book by Jacobs at the library. Lots of interesting math topics, kind of like what you might find at a good math circle.
