Roadrunner
Which grade level are those books language wise? Two years ago they seemed almost impossible to conquer, but we pulled them out again, and they seem so easy now. Just curious.
Monica_in_Switzerland
My dd just finished reading them (so a bit at age 6 and a bit at age 7). Same age approximately for my son. They are both advanced readers. We also listen to them often on audiobook, and even the 4yo will LOL at them, though she doesn't understand everything. I think amazon.fr has them listed for age 8+.
Roadrunner
And now that I have read the other thread, do you know if this book series is A1 or A2? Is there a test online to see language skills by those levels?
Loesje22000
This is a site with exercises sorted by CERF level: http://www.bonjourdefrance.com/preparation-delf/index.html This a Table that links several French literature editions to CERF levels, unfortunetly Petit Nicholas is not part of it ;) https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B95KJ31I-LlPSGxtd0ZhMlpCenZaUzkyQ1VVMm44dUpJRHV3 According to this it is in the A1/A2 series: https://ticsenfle.blogspot.be/2015/01/le-petit-nicolas-ressources-lecture.html But here it is announced as A2/B1: http://www.gymta.cz/_fr_sekce/aide/doc/nicolas.pdf perhaps it is different per title?
