Here's some promotions for you!

It's too late for this year but as a homeschooler, you can request free tickets for yourself and your students. The deadline is usually in May. I'll send you the address if you don't have it. I've got it somewhere. Just let me know if you need it.

As for activities, I just follow my girls wherever they want to go. The petting zoo is a big hit every year as is the parade in the evening. We bring our own food and water; both are very expensive once you are within the fair grounds.

Am I reading this right? The food bank considers coke an acceptable donation? Ohmyword. Really...what is going through their minds?

When we donate to food banks, and we do quite often, I'm hoping that there will be healthy, sustaining foods there, not junk.

Ugh

(Oct. 3 & 17)

Make a difference for the clients of Prestonwood Pregnancy Center and enjoy a day at the State Fair of Texas! If you bring a package of diapers on Oct. 3 or Oct. 17, you’ll get into the fair for $1. Also, visit our Community Mobile Sonogram unit on Coliseum Drive while you’re there.
