FLL4 independent?

I'm using FLL4 this year with two of my kids. I can't see how you could consistently do it independently. There might be a couple of days here & there they could do by themselves (poetry days, short passage days), but the great majority need someone to read the TM stuff.

It only takes us 15-20 minutes on most days to go through a lesson. We do it for 25-30 minutes & get through more than a lesson per day.

No. There's no instruction in the student book. All the teaching is in the TM.

Junior Analytical Grammar is written to the student, and there's an optional DVD if that's not enough. My DC ran this entirely independently, grading their own work as they went. I graded the tests, and if it was clear they hadn't spent the time actually learning the concept they repeated the chapter.

Rod and Staff English can also be done independently, but it works best with a mixture of teacher led and independent work in my experience.

Well shoot. I really like the style and what is taught, and it's gentleness, but teaching 4 levels of math, 3 levels of spelling, 1 learning to read, and then helping with various other subjects as needed... I apparently don't have the time even though it is quick. I also bought WWE and haven't used it at all. Grr.
