Best Lesson plans for Apologia General?

What have you found are the best pre-written lesson plans for Apologia General Science?

What do you want out of the lesson plans? Scheduling, supply lists, something else?

 

www.donnayoung.org has some good materials for Apologia. 

 

I find that it's actually pretty easy to schedule--the chapters are broken up by "on your own" question sets, and most of the time the student can just read to the next question set (in the beginning, I used to mark the book with red and green sticky tabs--green for "start here" and red for "stop here.") It was almost always reasonable to read to the next OYO questions, but this way I could at least see if it was reasonable. Labs can be done as they come up (sometimes mid-section, so we might do the lab one day and read the next, or vice versa). Then we usually did a couple of study days and a day for the test. Most modules can be done in 2 weeks, occasionally one would take 3.

We use the Student Notebook which has a schedule and everything contained.  It's a great resource.

The schedule in the Student Notebook is what we have been using as well.  I bought from My Father's World, so it included their schedule, but theirs is a 4-day schedule, so it's a heavy load.  The notebook schedule is 5-day, which is easier for my slowpoke, busy kid.

I second the schedule from Donna Young. It's really easy to implement, especially if you've bought all of the supplies ahead and put in a box so that you're not running out after a household ingredient to complete the experiment (says the mom who learned the hard way).  :)
