Leftyplayer
Anyone using the Flip Flop Spanish curriculum and could give me a detailed review of how it's working out for you? What you like and don't like about it, etc. Thanks.
Sdel
My daughter has used Flip-Flop thorough our co-op. The author and her children also attend our co-op and Mrs. Gose teaches all the language classes there: Spanish through HS Spanish 3, Latin and Greek. She did not teach the preschool classes, but several of her former high school students did. Its a very gentle intro. The workbook lessons are intended to only take a few minutes and be done 3 days a week. The pages are black and white with simple activities. The instructor would have to provide any games, but you can buy a listening CD and flash cards and there are a few chant suggestions in the book. My daughter loved it, and while we were keeping it up, it stuck pretty well. The things I didn't like is the book layout can be a bit awkward. You go through the lessons only using the front side of the pages, and then when you get to the end you flip the book over and go through the lessons on the back side of the pages. The other thing, everything in the 3-5 level 1 & 2, is in the 6 - 9 book level 1, which are the books my daughter used. I also think for the respective levels, 5 and 9 are high age estimates.
