Chris in VA
I know this is an education topic, but I'm here on Chat most often. I was on Amazon and saw the 50+ book collection called Great Books of the Western World. The 2nd and 3rd volumes are called The Syntopicon, and they have the Great Ideas in them, and then they list all the instances in the Great books (that are in the set) where these ideas (Beauty, love, truth, etc.) pop up, complete with page numbers. What a cool idea. Has anyone ever seen this, or used it? I think it'd come in pretty handy and be interesting reading.
medawyn
I have it and have used it, mostly in a for my own pleasure kind of way, although it did come in handy with some grad school essay brainstorming.
